During the process of recording the EP, a name for the group was coined…The BreakLites.   After a phone call to a local DJ and good friend Craig Vialle, The BreakLites had a DJ.photo of Cruel by Bill Bungard

Following the release of the first EP New Dogs, Old Tricks the guys immediately returned to the studio, and popped out a few months later with their debut full length record à Pack Your Bags.

After a few months of playing clubs, bars, and house parties around the Northwest in support of the new record, The BreakLites took no break, and went right back to recording a new album titled Robots and Daytons. Deciding to move away from their traditional bluesy, boom-bap, hip hop sound for this project, The BreakLites made the record with summer in mind. Creating a unique blend of up-tempo, electro-pop beats with John’s funk inspired guitar, and Cruels high-energy flow, The BreakLites created a record that lacks nothing but ordinary.
